Synopsis: Parks and Recreation is a mockumentary television show starring Amy Poehler as Leslie Knope, a perky, mid-level bureaucrat in the parks department of Pawnee, a fictional town in Indiana. It initially follows her exploits as she attempts to advance her career and make her town more beautiful by helping local nurse Ann Perkins turn a construction pit into a park. It moves on from this soon after and, with the help of the fantastic supporting cast, has now evolved into one of the funniest and most heartwarming shows currently on television.
